Tickets are selling fast for the Northwest Business Environment Awards 2010 ceremony.
The North West's green heroes will be revealed at a prize-giving ceremony, featuring speakers from industry and offering an opportunity to meet the winners and network with environmental and business leaders.
Awards will be presented for the Built Environment, Best Environmental Practice, Environmental Innovation, Environmental Champions and the Combating Climate Change Award, a new accolade for 2010.

Date: Tuesday, 19th October 2010. Time: 2.00pm-6.00pm.
Venue: Bridgewater Hall, Manchester (www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk).
Dress code: Smart business wear / lounge suits.
Price: £32 per ticket (plus £5.60 VAT and £1.74 booking fee if paying by card – a total of £39.34)
The Northwest Business Environment Awards Ceremony is the only event in the North West to showcase and reward financial and environmental excellence, share best practice and exchange thoughts and ideas with other likeminded professionals.
For 2010, the awards ceremony will be compered by Michael Taylor, editor of Northwest Business Insider Magazine and will include speakers from industry.
Jonathon Porritt, the co-founder of Forum for the Future, will be the keynote speaker at this year's ceremony. In addition to his work with the sustainable development charity, Porritt is also a former director of Friends of the Earth.
