Flowtech Water Solutions in Morecambe was a joint winner of the Environmental Innovation Award for its energy-saving device for maintaining water pressure.

The product can be used to solve the problem of some homes only receiving a trickle of water when demand is high, but without the costly need for replacing water mains.
