Kellogg's was the 2007 winner for Best Environmental Practice in the 'large company' category, for the implementation of efficiency measures at its Manchester plant.
The food and drink manufacturer's successful resource efficiency drive had massively cut energy use, carbon dioxide emissions and water usage – saving almost £700,000 in the process.
