Lancaster Environment Centre
The Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) is a collaboration between Lancaster University and the Natural Environment Research Council’s (NERC) Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (CEH).
With over 300 scientists and £35 million of capital investment the Centre forms one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
At the heart of LEC is a fundamental commitment to ensure that our research and teaching is driven to deliver academic excellence and real world impact to our user communities.
